I'm just guessing here, from what you've said, but it looks like your TV may have a problem with 44.1Khz PCM (typically mp3 and wma files) - soundtracks are usually 48kHz (such as typically found in mkv and avi files). You already know it will accept 22050Hz 16bit PCM, so you could start there! It could be that your TV doesn't properly accept the format you are sending it - play around with AC3Filter and see what formats it will and won't accept. Play some audio in Media Player Classic Home Cinema Edition - the AC3Filter icon should appear in the lower RH corner of the screen.ĭouble click that and the AC3Filter config window will open - on the MAIN tab, you can now select output bit depth and sampling frequency. You state that Windows XP startup sounds work OK - these are 22050Hz 16bit PCM. Although most of the things work, youtube video doesn’t play. The Apps marketplace can be accessed and you can install the latest updates and read RSS feeds just like what one normally do on an android phone. This will allow you to select the output bit depth (ie 16bit, 24bit etc) and the sampling frequency (44100, 48000 etc etc) Surfing the net isn’t a problem with the LAN cable plugged into the ASRock NETTOP ION 330.
